Condition delivery

Condition delivery is how most paikari goods move around Bangladesh, and it is the main way lots travel on Taantghor. You pay a 25% advance online, the seller books your lot at a transport counter "on condition", and you pay the balance at the counter when you collect.

How booking works

1. You choose a counter near your shop at checkout, for example a SA Paribahan, Sundarban Courier or Janani Express branch.
2. After your advance is verified, the seller packs your lot into a sealed bale and books it at their local counter within 48 hours.
3. The booking is made "on condition", which means the counter holds the bale until the condition amount (your balance) is paid.
4. The seller enters the booking receipt number on your lot, and you get a notification. You can follow progress in My lots.

If your order has products from more than one seller, each seller's part comes as a separate lot with its own lot number, and lots may arrive on different days.

Collecting your lot

Bring:

• Your lot number (shown in My lots and in the notification).
• The booking receipt number, if the counter asks.
• Your NID or another photo ID matching the name on the order.

At the counter you pay:

• The balance of the lot (the order total minus your 25% advance).
• The transport charge, which the counter sets based on weight and distance, unless the seller has said it is prepaid.

Check before you sign

Look at the bale before you sign for it. Check that the seal is unbroken, there are no tears or wet patches, and the lot number on the bale matches yours. If something looks wrong, ask the counter staff to note it on the receipt and take photos. You then have 3 days to raise a claim. See Damage & claims.

If a lot is delayed

• Most lots reach the counter within 2 to 5 days of booking, depending on distance.
• If the status has not changed for several days, message the seller from the lot page first.
• If you get no answer within one working day, contact support with your lot number and we will follow up with the seller and the transport company.

Cash on delivery

For orders up to ৳50,000, you can choose cash on delivery (COD) at checkout instead of the 25% advance. Larger orders always need the advance.
