Buying

Who can buy on Taantghor?

Shop owners and online resellers in Bangladesh. Anyone can browse, but you need a verified buyer account to check out.

How do I get verified?

Upload your trade licence, or your NID with a photo of your shop, from your account. Most accounts are approved within 24 hours. Your documents are never shown to sellers.

What is MOQ?

MOQ is the minimum order quantity for one design, for example 10 pieces. Each product sets its own MOQ, and it is shown on the product page.

Can I mix colours?

Yes. Colours of the same design count together towards the MOQ and towards the price tiers.

How do tier prices work?

The price per piece drops as your quantity of one design grows. A product may have, for example, one price from 10 pieces, a lower price from 30 and a lower one again from 60.

I need a very large quantity. Can I get a better price?

Send a quote request from the product page. An admin reviews it, then the seller replies. Track it in My quotes.

Payment

How do I pay?

Pay a 25% advance by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer and enter the Transaction ID. The balance is paid at the transport counter when you collect your lot.

How long do I have to pay the advance?

Please pay within 24 hours. If no advance is verified, the order is cancelled automatically after 48 hours.

Is cash on delivery available?

Yes, for orders up to ৳50,000.

Delivery

Why did my order arrive in several lots?

Each seller packs and ships their part of your order separately, so each part has its own lot number. Track them all in My lots.

What is condition delivery?

The seller books your lot at a counter such as SA Paribahan, Sundarban Courier or Janani Express, and you pay the balance there when you collect. Read more on Condition delivery.

Problems and safety

My lot arrived damaged or short. What do I do?

Raise a claim from My lots within 3 days of collection, with photos, an unboxing video, the lot number and the counter receipt. See Damage & claims.

Why are phone numbers hidden in chat?

To keep both sides safe. Deals made outside Taantghor are not protected, so contact details and off-platform payment requests are masked.

The colour is slightly different between pieces. Is that a defect?

No. Small colour variations and slubs are natural in handloom cloth and are not treated as defects.
