How paikari works

Taantghor lets shop owners and online resellers buy handloom saree, lungi, three-piece and gamcha in bulk, straight from verified weavers, cooperatives and mahajans. Here is how an order works from start to finish.

1. Verify your shop

Anyone can browse, but only verified buyers can check out. To get verified, upload your trade licence, or your NID with a photo of your shop. Most accounts are approved within 24 hours. Your documents are kept private and are never shown to sellers.

2. Pick designs and quantities

• Each product has its own MOQ (minimum order quantity), for example 4, 10, 20 or 24 pieces.
• You can mix colours of the same design to reach the MOQ. For example, if the MOQ is 10, you could take 4 red, 3 green and 3 blue.
• Tier prices reward bigger orders. The price per piece drops as your quantity of one design moves into the next tier, and the cart shows which tier you are in.
• You can order from several stores in one checkout.

3. Pay the 25% advance

At checkout you pay 25% of the order total by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer, then enter the Transaction ID (TrxID). Our team checks the payment and confirms your order.

• Please pay within 24 hours of placing the order.
• Orders with no verified advance are cancelled automatically after 48 hours.
• For orders up to ৳50,000 you can choose cash on delivery instead.

4. Sellers dispatch your lots

Each seller's part of your order is packed and sent as a separate lot with its own lot number, usually within 48 hours. You can follow every lot in My lots.

5. Collect at the counter

Lots travel by condition delivery to the SA Paribahan, Sundarban Courier or Janani Express counter you chose. Bring your lot number and ID, check the bale, then pay the balance and transport charge at the counter.

Buying in large quantities

Need more than the top tier, a custom colour or a repeat order every month? Send a quote request from the product page. An admin reviews it first, then the seller replies with a price. You can follow your requests in My quotes.

Talking to sellers

You can chat with any seller about stock, colours or timing. To protect both sides, chat is moderated: phone numbers, emails, links and requests to pay outside the platform are hidden. Orders are only protected when the deal and payment stay on Taantghor.

If something goes wrong
